God Is Still God

Through every great blessing, through every sore trial,

God is still God - He’s working in your heart all the while.

Through every heartache, through every cry and tear,

God is still God, and your Redeemer is always near.

Through every dark time, through every refining season,

Jesus knows the answers even when you don’t know the reason.

When life is so difficult, and all things seem to oppose,

The Lord opens the doors you thought were forever closed.

Through every affliction, through every dread and fear,
The God of all comfort is with you, and He will always hear.
Just trust your Shepherd fully, through each and every day;
In the struggles you face, the Lord will always make a way.

When nothing seems to be working right, and clouds darken your view,
Remember God is still God - and He is still good to you.
The Lord gives blessings to us, and the same Lord takes away;
God still loves you, and He is still God at the end of the day.

God will surely lead you; the Shepherd promises to guide;
God is still your God, and we know He will always provide.

God is still your Heavenly Father,
The Saviour is still your Friend,
The Holy Spirit is still your Comforter -
God is still with you unto the end.
God is still God, my friend.

Job 1:21 And said, Naked came I out of my mother's womb, and naked shall I return thither: the LORD gave, and the LORD hath taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD.

The LORD is good is used seven times in the Bible:

Psalms 34:8-9 O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him. O fear the LORD, ye his saints: for there is no want to them that fear him.

Psalms 100:5 For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.

Psalms 135:3 Praise the LORD; for the LORD is good: sing praises unto his name; for it is pleasant.

Psalms 145:9 The LORD is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works.

Jeremiah 33:11 The voice of joy, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride, the voice of them that shall say, Praise the LORD of hosts: for the LORD is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: and of them that shall bring the sacrifice of praise into the house of the LORD. For I will cause to return the captivity of the land, as at the first, saith the LORD.

Lamentations 3:25 The LORD is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him.

Nahum 1:7 The LORD is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him.
