It Is Written, It Is Written
There is a Book that God has written;
To it, no other can compare.
Its chapters tell us of the Saviour
In the pages written there:
Jesus is the song of sages,
He’s the Bible’s central theme.
In the glory of the ages,
It is written for all to see.

There is a plan for you and me.

The Saviour came to make us free.
Held so long by sin’s oppression
From our slavery we are freed,
Why wander about in darkness -
Oh, take up the Book and read!
For so many years I have wandered,
Lost in the maze of uncertainty;
I have searched so long for answers,
Puzzled at the depths of misery.
There are questions I have wondered,
What of my future? I cannot see -
But when I read the Bible for myself,
The mysteries become clear to me.
Jesus is the only Saviour;
He died for Adam’s sinful race.
He suffered on the cruel cross -
The Substitute in our place.
By His blood, He paid our ransom;
By His death, He made us free;
But the Bible’s story doesn’t end there -
|Jesus Christ arose in victory.
There is no gospel written in the stars -
Of our redemption they cannot tell;
But the Bible has been written
To rescue souls on their way to Hell.
Genesis to Revelation
Declare it plainly for all to see:
Jesus Christ is the only Saviour,
And He gives life eternally.
In the glory of its pages,
It is written for all to see…

2 Peter 1:19-21 We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts: Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.
The Scriptures are objective truth - the light shining in the darkness - because they tell of THE Light, the Lord Jesus Christ, and the salvation found in Him.
